CALL TO ARTISTS
BOLD Phoenix, a coalition of organizations serving pregnant and birthing women in the greater Phoenix Area, is planning an Art Exhibit featuring multi-media art pieces related to Pregnancy, Childbirth and Mothering/Fathering. All proceeds from the Art Exhibit will go towards Birth, a play written by Karen Brody.
Birth will be presented on Labor Day Weekend 2008.
The exhibit opening will be on Friday, June 6, 2008 at The Red Door Gallery in downtown Phoenix. There will be a closing ceremony on June 20th.
We are asking for submissions of original art and will consider works of any size and in any medium.
Deadline for submission is Saturday, May 24th. Drop-off deadline is Wednesday, May 28th.
